One of the persistent issues we have while building with the NWN2 toolset is the (occasional) corruption of a module as a result of a save. I'm speculating that a useful utility could be built using this code, and the source code at xoreos/xoreos, that could process a NWN2 module file or directory and look for signs of corrupted elements. The tool could do things like check for invalid offsets, look for invalid fields, find missing textures, etc. Possibly other issues could be identified if we could obtain some corrupt module files to practice upon. If the specific corrupt element could be readily identified, that would quickly help remediate the issue.
Such a tool would be of immediate value to the NWN2 community.
