I just noticed this repo, and am really impressed with the amount of work put into this! Out of curiosity I decided to compare these sound changes to the simple Latin→Portuguese changes I distributed as an example with Brassica (themselves a mere translation of the default changes for zompist’s SCA²). Here’s what I got:

Latin word SCA²/Brassica changes This repo
lector leitor léctor
doctor doutor doctor
focus fogo foca
jocus jogo joca
districtus distrito districtos
cīvitatem cidade civitadê
adoptare adotar adoptar
opera obra opéra
secundus segundo sécndos
fīliam filha filha
pōntem ponte pontê

Although I know little Latin and less Portuguese, some of the outputs in the final column don’t look quite right to me; certainly, only one is the same as the corresponding output in the middle column. Clearly one of these sets of changes must have an error somewhere, either yours or mine (or both, of course)… but which one?

All of yours are definitely correct, I probably am not handling something important or I ended up breaking something while experimenting with it (probably the latter), I haven't looked into this for a fairly long time and it was mostly a learning exercise, I'd have to take a look into it later.
