You just use something like that:

videoView.setDataSource("https://www.sample-videos.com/video/mkv/720/big_buck_bunny_720p_1mb.mkv")

And you have to have Internet permission in the manifest, of course:

<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.INTERNET"/>
