If you were to redo the project from Fall term, what would you tell yourself?

Get started on the data collection earlier so we can start training our algorithms sooner. Also to set up AWS at the beginning to has out any bugs early on.

What's the biggest skill you've learned?

I learned how to use the python libraries for machine learning and also how to use AWS.

What skills do you see yourself using in the future?

I can see myself using the python machine learning techniques due to the big rise in popularity in recent years.

What did you like about the project, and what did you not?

Being a basketball fan I liked the application of using march madness as a teaching tool. I also liked that i got exposure to ML. I didn't like that at times it felt like there was not much to do.

What did you learn from your teammates?

I learned how to write technical documents using Latex from Alex. And George walked me through the python ML libraries and how to use them as well as how to use AWS.

If you were the client for this project, would you be satisfied with the work done?

Overall yes I feel we satisfied all requirements. The speed of the algorithms could have been faster but that was due to our limited computing power.

If your project were to be continued next year, what do you think needs to be working on?

Add more functionality, for example an easy way to upload more stats through the website. Also make the module a little more appealing. You could introduce neural networks to the module or more advanced stat metrics.
