HETEAC-Flex v1.0

HETEAC-Flex is an aerosol-typing scheme based on lidar-derived intensive optical properties, and applicable to ground-based and spaceborne lidars. The typing scheme utilizes the optimal estimation method and enables the identification of up to four different aerosol components as well as the determination of their contribution to the aerosol mixture in terms of relative volume. The aerosol components represent common aerosol types such as dust, sea salt, smoke, and pollution.
