2. Audio Actions
Editing will open the corresponding take using the selected Audio Editing Plugin. Orature will remain open providing both the Source Text, Source Audio, and *Target Audio should you wish to access them while editing. In order to return to Orature, you must close the editing application.
For more information on adding and selecting an Audio Editing Plugin, please refer to the Plugins section.
Verse Marker Placement will open the selected take. Pressing the yellow Add Marker button will place a verse marker at the playback head. To move the playback head, you can either:
- Press play, which will scroll the audio alongside playback
- Click and drag on the waveform to move around the file.
A minimap at the top also shows a window corresponding to where you are in the complete length of the audio file. You can also move around the file by clicking on the minimap.
When a marker is placed, an alternating color highlight will highlight the range of audio corresponding to that verse. Once a marker is placed, it can be dragged by clicking and dragging the marker.
A count at the top left shows how many markers are placed, out of how many verses exist in the chapter.
Pressing continue will save your changes and return to the chapter page.
