# numpy

1. NumPy stands for Numerical Python.
2. NumPy was created in 2005 by Travis Oliphant.
3. NumPy is a python library used for working with arrays, adding support for large, multi-dimensional arrays and matrices, along with a large collection of high-level mathematical functions to operate on these arrays It also has functions for working in domain of linear algebra, fourier transform, and matrices.
4. It is an open source project and you can use it freely.

NumPy can be installed with conda, with pip, or with a package manager on macOS and Linux.
