Without the texture packs

  • Irvine vanishes even when he comes in to save the day at the end of the prison escape(edited)

With the texture pack

  • It's looking for the wrong size for the moomba textures for some reason.
  • Zell's mom blinks out of existence
  • Rinoa blinks out of existence but rinoa only does when she's piggyback on squall.

I think something's bugged with how field characters blink - and it's affecting certain select glitches.

  • The debug message shows height * 2 for the character textures.
  • World map crashes if loading wmset_029_0.png. Or the roads and train tracks vanish if you get into the game without it crashing.
    • I fixed this on my branch we were using the wrong variable as the texture index.
  • Palettes for field backgrounds not loading.
  • Battle Stage animations don't play. #45

Most of the images are 384 height. Irvine and Quistis are the outliers. Quistis hasn't been reported as a problem though. But she has more than one model.

288 pixels... doesn't make sense

about blinking- from the symbols we extracted from Switch we know that Dotemu/AG did something with character blinking- not sure what it's all about and why in some cases the character dissapear

Seb- May I ask for the moomba details? one pixel should be deleted?

Mcindus said like i fixed moombas by shrinking one of the sides by 1px - but now i'm not sure if they're loading. I guess he went from 384x384 to 383x384

It was Cyanfire who found the workaround - I think he made the image 767x768.
