If after installation and setup you don't see your content:
- Make sure you have a content library setup on you USB using LaunchBox.
- Make sure your USB is connected to you Xbox and has all permissions needed USB Setup Video
- Check your LaunchBox content library/data has become corrupt, you can check this by opening LaunchBox on your pc and an error will pop up asking you to restore from a backup if it is damaged in any way.
- If Platforms/Playlist do not all appear this may be due to having not sorted your platform list in Launch Box by assigning a Sort Order # to each platform in the order wished to display them Sort Title Video then delete the LaunchPassUserSettings.xml and LaunchPass.xml from your USB and restart LaunchPass.
Here are some things to try.
-
Make sure you are indeed displaying the platform/playlist.
-
Adding a Sort Title: #.
-
Try delete the LaunchPassUserSettings.xml and LaunchPass.xml from your USB and restart LaunchPass.
Edit each your platforms and assign a Sort Title: # (number), the numerical value here will be the order in-which they are displayed.
To do this edit the platform and make sure to include it into a parent.
To do this edit the playlist and make sure to include it into a parent, and include playlist with platforms is checked.
- Make sure you have sort order set to all platforms and playlists.
- Check LaunchBox Data is corrupt.
- Try delete the LaunchPassUserSettings.xml and LaunchPass.xml from your USB and restart LaunchPass.
- LaunchPass uses its own thumbnail caching system, so it has explicit control over cached thumbnails and used storage. Native Windows thumbnail caching is not used.
- Cached thumbnails can be deleted by opening the Settings page and clicking the Delete Cache button.
- When front box images are to be shown for the first time, they are first cached into a smaller thumbnail for faster loading later. This means when you access platform collections, image loading will be slower until thumbnails are generated.
- A potential crash exists when there are a large number of systems with huge collections above 2000 in any given playlist/platform collection, it is recommended that for collections above 1500, you split them up into playlists with appropriate names (example: Gameboy 1, Gameboy 2). This specifically applies to total titles while displaying the full collection of that platform/playlist.
- It is recommended to uninstall LaunchPass restart your console then reinstall the app or install the update.
- If Updating you must delete your LaunchPassUserSettings.xml and LaunchPass.xml from your USB
- LaunchPass should always be set as a App not a Game
