Trees Range

Tree Range

Every spruce tree has a 4x20x4 region aroung it which should not be overlapping with any other spruce tree nearby as it would cause conflict in the block mapping and regeneration. The marked region specifically shows in the images below can be overlapped with another trees region but nothing else should be overlapping

1. Single Tree Region

In the provided image, the cobblestone area indicates the reset range for leaves, while the diorite area represents the reset range for logs. The log reset range is larger than that of the leaves, allowing for the creation of custom large spruce trees.

For a tree positioned centrally, there should be a minimum distance of 4 blocks from all sides, plus one block for the border, totaling 5 blocks on each side and forming a square. The cobblestone area is essential and must not overlap with any other spruce tree region. This cobblestone square measures 11 blocks and marks the region for leaves, which should not be overlapped by any other tree.

The diorite section, measuring 15 blocks long, serves as the reset range for spruce logs. This area can overlap with other tree regions, as demonstrated in section 2.

2. Range Overlapping

The following image shows region of two spruce trees nearby,

  • Tree 1 is marked by cobble stone and diorite
  • Tree 2 is marked by oak_planks and oak_log

The cobblestone and oak_plank is leave reset range so they should not overlap but the diorite and oak_log is log reset range thus they can be overlapped but not too much, the following image should be considered when placing trees and markings around the tree as shown in section 1would help a lot.

3. Ideal Tree Region

Tree Leaves Demo

  • The image shows how the leaves of the spruce trees are within the cobblestone range which shouldnt overlap with other tree region. ALT

  • This image shows the base of a tree how tree is placed in canter and the region around it. ALT
