With the BeatSaberModdingTools (or templates), you can easily create a new Beat Saber mod.

Starting Visual Studio 2019 (Visual Studio 2017 will look different), Create a new project

Filtering by Language/Platform/Project Type will make the templates easier to find.
Select the template you want to use (Core is recommended for beginners).

Enter the name of your mod and click Create.
