This PR updates the configuration of the project so that it continues to work as planned.

As part of this PR, it also works around the issues with warning filters for pytest which previously led to the disabling of the warnings-as-errors setting.
This already revealed a couple of warnings that probably need to be addressed in the near term future.

This PR also adds a uv lockfile which should unblock CD.
