Overseeing government with AI

Automated ranking and filtering of legal notices in the government gazette

Tutorial presented at ICEDEG 2023 (Ninth International Conference on eDemocracy & eGovernment). It can be followd at: analysis/tutorial_Overseeing-gov-with-AI.ipynb.

Running on Google Colab

  1. Access https://colab.research.google.com and create a new notebook.
  2. Go to 'File > Upload notebook', then select 'GitHub'.
  3. Put the address of this repository (https://github.com/cewebbr/text_ranking_in_gov) on the text box, select the appropriate repository and click on the notebook link 'analysis/tutorial_Overseeing-gov-with-AI.ipynb'.
  4. Once the notebook is loaded, go to 'Runtime > Change runtime type' and
  5. Select 'GPU' and save.
