In case of a cluster using YARN and HDFS, the delegation token renewer property needs to be set with

In case the renewer is not set, YARN will be unable to renew the token and collect the application logs. When the delegation token expires, Flink jobs will fail with no written application logs.

Kafka connector security properties should be defined as normal job arguments, since there are no built-in configurations for them in Flink:
