There are important fixes in this pull request, most notably; ecmwf auth is inherited from etcd auth and type checking with isinstance was redirecting the authentication request to wrong endpoint; this is fixed by strict type checking. Also necessary comment is added for flake8 to ignore this check. Following modifications are also included in this pull request:
