MouseToggle:

MouseToggle is the one-click solution for frequently switching your mouse buttons from right-handed to left-handed. Use this on Windows' task bar for an extremely simple and fast way to switch mouse buttons. Application is especially useful for people suffering from carpal tunnel symptoms or for environments with many users.

  1. To use, download the MouseToggle.exe file.
  2. Save on your computer's file system, like: C:\Program Files\MouseToggle\MouseToggle.exe
  3. Right click on .exe and select "Create Shortcut"
  4. Move short cut into your Startup folder (many ways to accomplish).
    copy "C:\Program Files\MouseToggle\MouseToggle.exe - Shortcut" C:\Users\user_name>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

Usage:

  1. Icon will be shown in Icon tray
  2. It is suggested to "Customize" your icons by setting appearance on TaskBar to "Show icon and notifications". Otherwise, Windows will hide the MouseToggle icon, which defeats the point of using it.
  3. Clicking on MouseToggle icon will switch mouse pointer. When this occurs, icon will update with an image that shows whether mouse is left or right handed mode. NOTE: You can right or left click on icon to swap buttons.
