This preview release contains a Eclipse update site in the form of zip file.

It still has UI and usability issues, but the main functionality is implemented.

We welcome all ideas, suggestions and other feedback about it.

Follow these steps to install ReqTool in an existing Eclipse application:

  1. Download the update site file.
  2. In Eclipse, go to Help -> Install New Software... -> Add... -> Archive....
  3. Select the update site file and click OK.
  4. The update site contents should appear in window. Choose ReqTool and all Capra components and click Finish.

Done.

Limitations and missing features

  • There is no GUI to link requirements to each other.
  • There is no GUI to remove links to editors.
  • There is no way to insert newlines in the body text editor directly (but they can be pasted into the text).

Dependencies

This release is based on the Capra version from Change 100708, which has not yet been accepted and merged to the develop branch. This change is necessary for the test result integration to work. All other functionality should work with the Capra version that is specified in the latest checked in ReqTool version.
