abstract:
- content: Covered in this guide are basic principles, methods, and experience for
(design of 110 kV to 1000 kV) alternating current (ac) overhead transmission lines.
This guide may also be used as a reference for the design of lower-voltage overhead
transmission lines. Included in this guide are an introduction, definitions, meteorological
design and criteria, electrical design, structural design criteria, design of
foundations, experiment results, and design experience. This guide is a listing
of the information and procedures that can be referenced during the design of
ac transmission lines. Guidance is provided for transmission line designers in
the data collection design stage.

abstract:
- content: Streaming Telemetry Transport Protocol (STTP) is defined in this standard.
This protocol was initially designed for streaming power system data over Internet
protocol (IP) communication systems. It is focused on streaming real-time measurements
but can be used with any type of continuously flowing data. It features built-in
security and lossless data compression options for efficient transport. It specifies
data types and transport control methods using a publish-subscribe architecture
for controlled signal-level data access. It uses standard security and transport
options, so it is easy to maintain and update. It is highly configurable for time
precision, compression level, and packet sizes to optimize the stream within data
and transport limitations. It has been proven and refined in several demonstration
projects and production environments. Open Source Files are available at https://opensource.ieee.org/sttp/sttp/

abstract:
- content: The world is witnessing a rapid advance in stereoscopic 3D (S3D), and ultra-high
definition (UHD) technology. As a result, there is a need for accurate, quality,
and visual comfort assessment techniques to foster the display device industry,
as well as signal processing areas. Thorough assessments with respect to the human
visual system (HVS) for S3D and UHD contents are presented in this standard. Moreover,
several image and video databases are also publicly provided for any research
purpose.
