Atheneum for After Effects

A 3rd-party script library and launcher for After Effects.

Important

On first launch the script list will be empty. Open the Atheneum Settings window by clicking the S button and then click Add Folder to load your scripts.

Using Atheneum

Double click a script within the list to run the script. Atheneum works best with workflow scripts that require no user interface but supports any JSX or JSXBIN file.

Use the search bar to filter your list of scripts to quickly find what you are looking for.

Click the X button to clear the search bar and reset the list of scripts.

Click the S button to open the Atheneum Settings window. From here you can customize your Atheneum install and behavior.

Atheneum Settings - Folders

Atheneum will load all scripts from any folders listed in the settings.

Add Folder Button

• Click Add Folder to add a new folder to the folder list and load all script files within the folder.

Tip

Atheneum will load all scripts found within the given folder and any subfolders automatically.

Remove Folder Button

• Select a folder from the folder list and and click Remove Folder to no longer load script files from that folder.

Atheneum Settings - Favorites

When using Atheneum the most frequently-used scripts will automatically be pushed to the top of the list and marked with an emoji of your choice. Atheneum is always recording usage and will live update as you use it.

Icon

• Set a custom icon to indicate frequently-used scripts in the script list.

Tip

Technically any text can be entered here but emojis work best. 🎉✨🍑💜

Reset Favorites Button

• Click Reset Favorites to reset all script usage history.

Reveal Favorites Button

• Click Reveal Favorites to open the folder location where script usage history is saved.
