How to run RAK7200 firmware on TTGO T Motion
For the time being RAK 7200 firmware does not support AcSiP S76G USB port on PA11/PA12 pins.
However, it operates nicely over PA9/PA10 UART pins:
To proceed with further steps you need to connect your T-Motion with a USB-Serial adapter and install all drivers necessary.
- Take most recent RAK7200 bootloader and firmware binaries from this location
- Follow these RAK instructions and put serial bootloader into T-Motion's flash memory
- Then proceed with these instructions to install the RAK 7200 firmware itself
Once the process is complete, the T-Motion is able to successfully boot the RAK firmware for 7200 LoRaWAN tracker:
It is also known to work nicely with genuine RAK SERIAL PORT TOOL as well:
- T-Motion does not have status LEDs, so this RAK7200 functionality will not work
- 9 DOF sensor function will not work too unless you connect a proper MPU9250 module, like this one:
