The cmd-f version is the last step before we open our bot to the general public. For cmd-f we have worked very hard on creating the most customizable bot hackathon organizers will ever ask for.

New Features:

  • Use of MongoDB for guild settings persistence, no more hard-coded settings
  • Extensive use of OOD by creating classes for our features
  • Better logging using winston
  • Able to work in multiple guild at the same time, except for verification features
  • Tons of bug fixes, optimizations, spelling fixes, text improvements, misc improvements
  • New team roulette feature for random teams
  • E-rooms for out of discord meetings like booths
  • Fully customizable verification system
  • Safety improvements, use of DMs only for personal information

Known bugs

  • Verification only works for one guild
  • Activities are still quite messy, working on a fix and will be part of the first public release
  • Old boothing commands are not working
  • Hide/Unhide activities are not working, might revisit later when we rework the activity hierarchy
  • Commands do not have verbose logging yet
