Hi @magajh -- it doesn't look like this is required anymore. This repo is already using the 4.2.16 version of Django, which was upgraded as part of an automated PR last week (see #2560).

My apologies I just realized this was for Redwood and I may have closed this too quickly.

With the next Open edX release on the horizon, I didn't think there were going to be anymore updates/releases for Redwood. I think this is still okay to close, but let me know if I got it wrong.
