• Outstanding Issues:
  • Several to be fixed in V1.2
  • Migration to OpenAPI V3.1 from V3.0
• Outstanding Pull Requests:
  • Part 1: Core V1.2 consolidated PR ready for merge
  • Part 1 V1.1, Part 2 V1.0 Web Declaration PR ready for merge
  • Spurious Schema bundle to be deleted
• Compliance Test Suite:
• API coordination:
  • Re-charted Pub Sub SWG convened, Tom Kralidis, Peter Vretanos and Clemens Portele elected NOTUC Chair and Co-chairs

Status: EDR

• OGC API-EDR Part 2: Publish Subscribe Workflow, V1.0 published on 23 Sep 2024
• Re-chartered Pub Sub SWG now established

Progress in the last month:

• Agreed to support OpenAPI V3.1 instead of V3.0. Great advantage of full alignment with JSON Schema
• PR for OGC API-EDR Part 1: Core V1.2 nearly ready, once Metanorma struggles finished
• Spurious schema bundle deleted
• Adherence to OGC Web API Guidelines completed

Plans for next month:

• Explore approaches to support both V3.0 and V3.1 of OpenAPI

Outreach:

• ICAO announced formal requirement for API-EDR
• Present plans for Parts 3 & 4 in Korea

Longer Term Plans:

Risks:

• Other PubSub patterns inconsistent with EDR PArt 2 approach
• Diversity at the Metadata/schema fragment level across APIs

• Discussion of embedding an EDR query in a "feasibility service"
