About this version

@altrius/wanmq

An AMQP based node-to-node communication layer, with support for awaiting task completion, and a simple RPC system.

Installation

npm install @altrius/wanmq

This module requires an RabbitMQ or other AMQP 0.9.1 compatible server to be running, and accessible to the process.

It is not intended for use outside of The WAN DB's internal systems, but is published for transparency, and to allow for easier development of custom modules.

Detailed specification on the protocol used by this module can be found in the protocol specification.

Pull requests are welcome. For major changes, please open an issue first to discuss what you would like to change.

Please make sure to add tests and update documentation as appropriate. (ironic, given there is currently no tests in the system, I know. I'm working on it.)
