This should fix #426, the only problem I ended up breaking compatibility in MakeFile for native platform target and have no idea how to make a condition to check the cpu, some that I tried are commented. PowerPC G4 processors onwards have altivec, gcc for ppc doesn't have -march=native but accepts -mcpu=native, or even better -maltivec.
