I'm a psychologist in neurophysiological research, so most of my contributions are to tools I use at work: pandoc, the labstreaminglayer (more specifically, the LabRecorder, connectors for the BrainAmp EEG amplifiers and TobiiPro eye tracker as well as the Python library to load XDF files).
You might also like my BrainVision Analyzer plugins to read Neuroelectrics NEDF files and fix history files after moving the EEG data files or need a tiny C++ resampling library.
So, why support open source and me? In research, everyone encounters the same problems, puts together some rough tools to solve a specific problem publishes the results. With your support, I can justify to polish what I do in my free time so it might be useful to other people (including you).
