Bipolar mode didn't do very much to bright or percussive signals before.
This changes that mode so the noise gets skewed towards the 0.
This allows for more depth without getting very high amplitude compared to perceived loudness.
As a side effect it saturates the signal a bit on some settings, which can sound pretty nice, I find.
