  • The EJS and Pug template engines are now listed as peer dependences and must be installed manually.
  • View Responder no longer exports a function named createViewResponder.
  • View Responder now exports two named functions called createEjsResponder and createPugResponder.

Starting from version 2.0.0, utilize the EJS responder by importing createEjsResponder and calling it using the await keyword. For Pug, import createPugResponder, also calling it with the await keyword.

For an EJS responder, the example below:

 { render: 'index' }

Is equivalent to this:

{ render: 'index.ejs' }
