As mentioned in #111, special characters may be imported with the incorrect encoding.

I am not sure there is a way to fix this, really, as one would have to be able to tell how the file is encoded before importing.

I would say wontfix or at least low priority on this one. Seems like something very tricky to know if and when we have solved due to different formats and versions of Excel, different versions of Stata, and csv format.

And since this is a quality assurance report only, and not something that will be used in the research I do not think it is very important that we spend time to fix. But if we know about or find out about a comprehensive solution to all encodings, then that would of course be great.
