Installation
Download the latest version from releases and double click the msi to install.
Once the initial version is installed, the application will automatically detect whether newer versions are available during startup and then prompt whether you would like to install the newer version. If you'd prefer, then the online check can also be disabled.
For example..
The installation is self contained. But you will need to install the correct/latest .net desktop runtime if you don't already have it installed.
If you don't have the correct/latest .net installed, then you will be automatically redirected to the Microsoft website to download it. Unfortunately though the installer prompt (provided by Microsoft) isn't very clear and they suggest the default installation as console inste adof desktop.
For example..
- Select 'Yes' if prompted.
- After selecting yes, you will be directed to a Microsoft download page where you need to download the "desktop" version as per below.
