Here is a check list for new contributors to Taarifa:
- Subscribe to the mailing list
- Join the IRC channel
#taarifaon Freenode - Ask to be added to the group Hangout
- Set up Taarifa locally on your machine following the installation instructions for your platform. On a recent Linux or Mac system you should be able to run natively. On Windows we recommend using a virtual machine.
- If the instructions don't work for you they need to be fixed. Let us know by filing a bug or posting to the mailing list or chat. Or even better: if you know what needs to be changed, fix it and send a pull request!
- Before we can accept your contributions we need you to sign the Contributor's License Agreement.
